Matt Henson, a third generation pastor, brings a fresh perspective and energy to the church and her ministry. He has served in ministry for eleven years, specializing in Youth/Young Adult Ministry and Evangelistic Preaching, and uses his experience and passion to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ to all people.

An experienced speaker at youth camps, revivals, retreats and mission trips, Matt has spoken to groups in many locations, including southern Illinois, Chicago, Washington D.C., California, Michigan and Mexico. He also is experienced at working with adults to develop a team atmosphere in youth ministry, training them and giving them leadership skills to fulfill their ministry.

Matt presently serves as the Pastor at Real Life Church in Waterloo, Illinois where he uses his gifts to preach and teach in ministry to the St. Louis Metro East area.

A graduate of Eastern Illinois University and Asbury Theological Seminary, Matt's experience includes ministry in Charleston, Hume, Fairmount, and Troy, Illinois, and leader of a Campus Life Club (part of Youth for Christ) at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington, Kentucky.

Matt and his wife, Nancy, have been married for ten years and have four sons: Elijah, Micah, Judah, and Isaiah.
